WELL DONE TO MARI AND MICHAEL

Along with Pod and Vinnie they have both qualified for the winter championships held in March 2008 at the first competition of the season. To qualify they had to win their sections with over 60%. Both achieved this with ease.They will be out again at Patchetts next week and then onto the talent spotting at the end of February.

Penniwells would like to offer them the best of luck for the coming season.

They both also picked up awards at the British Dressage Supporers Club annual dinner. Carl Hester presented them with a certificate in recognition of having competed for Great Britain in July 2007.

We are looking forward to a fun packed year with a busy schedule already filling the diary!

Windsor is in May for the fancy dress competition.

Our regional RDA qualifiers are 28th May this year to which we normally take between 8 and 11 of our riders to compete for a place at our RDA Natioanl Championships. In 2007 all 9 riders qualified to go through - a fantastic achievement and a hard act to follow!

All this goes on as well as our day-to-day riding of up 140 every week. Thank you to all our staff and volunteers at Penniwells - we really couldnt do it without the support of you all. Whether you give 1 hour or 7 days in a week it all adds up to help make the Penniwells Team complete.

Well done on the championships 2008 - To win the warm up test and finish 2nd in the championships in each of your classes was fantastic! Just shows lots of determination and hard work pays off! The ponies were great - especially as you were riding in a blizzard to work in for your tests! Thanks go to Lizzie Wooderson for lending Cream Of The Irish to Mari for the Grade 3 classes. Vale View did a great job considering the weather and everyone had a really good weekend.
